A Bit About Me
When you work with me, you'll notice pretty quickly that I'm not a sit-in-silence-and-nod kind of therapist.
My style is warm, laid back, and collaborative. I ask a lot of questions. The kind that makes you think, not just respond. I believe deeply that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to help you access what you already know, untangle what's been keeping you stuck, and build the tools you need to move forward.
I take a holistic, mind-body approach, which means we look at the whole picture — not just your symptoms, but your history, your body, your relationships, and your world. I draw on EMDR, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches, always tailored to what you specifically need.
I specialize in working with women and moms at every stage of their journey. Outside of the therapy room, you can find me trying new restaurants, dancing, or soaking up the Florida sunshine.
My credentials: I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in mental health. I am trained in EMDR and through Postpartum Support International, with my PSI certification currently in progress. I hold a Bachelor of Sociology from the University of Virginia and a Master of Social Work from Widener University.
